Introduction to GPS Golf Simulator

GPS Golf Simulation Software, is currently, and will continue to be, the world's most advanced Golf Simulator. This Golf Simulator is the first to allow Golf courses to be easily created using either GPS data or photographs and plans. Enabling Golf Clubs, Golf Centres and Enthusiasts the ability to have their own or local golf course three dimensional simulated, quickly, affordably and in most languages.

Using the very latest software technology, we are able to offer every possible feature, on each and every golf simulator in the world. Plus additional features created by our R & D department and features our customers, demand. If your Course has been mapped out, why not be able to play your own golf course virtually, indoors?

Either play your Course during the evening or whenever the course is closed!

GPS Golf Simulator

"Tremendous Fun!" "Hit the ball with a driver and see it soar down the fairway some 260 yards while your playing partner hits several trees down the left hand side of the fairway before falling in the water, with a splash!!! Second shot to the green flies over the flag, by some 18 feet. While your partner finds a greenside bunker and then proceeds to hole his bunker shot. With a guide to the line of the putt it's an easy birdie, one up !!! and on to the next".

"Great Value for Money". Golf Simulators are a great investment. Used at Golf Clubs, Golf Academies, Hotels, Shopping Centres, Business Parks, Country Clubs, Leisure Centres, Tennis Centres, Cruise Liners, Holiday Parks and Hospitality Areas, the opportunities to generate income are endless. Although golf simulators have been around for some 30 years, the high price has often put a potential business off purchasing. Sports Coach Systems have over 50 years experience within the Golf Industry and because they manufacture the largest range of simulators and software programs in the world, they can produce a GPS Golf Simulator for a fraction of the price of other systems on the market.

GPS Golf Simulator

Sports Coach Systems are able to customise the simulator to suit the particular requirements for your home or business. So, if you have the room to swing a golf club, then Sports Coach Systems have the technology to build you a system. "The Only Difference Between a GPS Golf Simulator and A Round of Golf is the Walk."

GPS Resume Game

This allows golfers to resume a game of golf that previously they had to leave. A number is given for the Saved Game, so it is very easy to select the saved game the next time the golfers play, resuming their game where it was previously left.

Time Limit
GPS Time Limit

Time Limit allows the golf centre to select and control how long games of golf take. The time left to play is shown, throughout the game, in the bottom left hand corner. When the time limit is completed, the game will stopand can then be saved.

Advertising
GPS Advertising

Allowing Golf Centres to maximise revenue by display adverts, before each hole is played. Advertisements are easily created and will automatically be displayed, by hole number as opposed to golf course. Guaranteeing advertisers maximum exposure on each golf simulator, during game play.

GPS Interface

There are 2 interfaces for the program, the touch screen and the mouse interface. Commercial installations tend to prefer the touch screen version, as Golfers find the easier version

GPS Golf Putting
GPS Putting

There are 2 putting methods available, using the Putting Simulator or the Simulator Mat.  They are both extremely accurate and realistic giving a true and exact representation of the putt; both measure direction within a degree and ball speen to 1/100th of a mile an hour. This means the putt is measured accurately over the contoured 3 dimensional gree, for each particular putt that is played.

GPS Languages

Golf Course Creation

Links LS simulators

First, using 3D Modelling techniques, we create the approximate shape of each and every golf hole, in relation to the golf course. Defining the shape of the fairways, the greens, tee boxes and trees, so that the layout of the golf course can be mapped.

Links Ls simulators

Secondly, we transfer the exact global positioning data to shape the layout. Taking reference points throughout each hole, to mark out the curvature of the fairway, curvature of the green and plotting trees. The trees are selected from the vast object database, so that a true representation appears.

Links Ls simulators

Thirdly, we transfer the GPS data for the larger and smaller objects, so that we can set about drawing the items in; such as tee boxes, rough, bunkers, lakes, buildings, streams, cart paths, trees, islands, rocks, ball makers, etc. The course becomes recognisable at this stage.

Links Ls simulators

Fourthly, we add in the elevations for the entire course and objects, so that all the contours as defined from the satellite data are mapped out for the greens, fairways, rough, etc. In addition, we transfer the correct measurements for all fixed objects, such as trees.

The Course is then ready to be played!

Tournament Play
GPS Tournament Play

Tournament Play is possible because of the player's database and the Internet capability. So golfer's can play weekly online tournaments, whether local, national or worldwide. For instance, there may be a medal at Pine Springs golf course this week, next week a Stableford at the Faldo golf course and the week after a Skins matchg at Russet Hills golf course. With the GPS golf simulator having an ever increasing number of golf courses created, continuous competitions will become the norm.
